In our salon, we perform peelings and the preparation package with IMAGE products, and we also select home care products from IMAGE’s professional products after the treatment, according to the skin type. In many cases, it also helps the dermatologist and plastic surgeon’s later work, making it more spectacular if it is preceded by a peeling cure.

Before starting the treatment, a preparatory treatment package is given to the guest,

which facilitates the work of the beautician and prepares the skin for the treatment series. The aim of the preparation is to make the skin healthy, which is achieved with antioxidants, exfoliating substances, whitening ingredients, active ingredients that stimulate collagen production and sun protection. About 2-4 weeks before the cure the products should begin to use. We use peels of different strengths. The weaker are the enzymes, the continuation are the chemical peelings and the last steps are the advanced peelings.

The beautician should build up a series of treatments, the skin should be properly assessed so as not to provoke an excessive reaction. Weaker peels can be done every 2 weeks. Advanced peeling, when already treated with strong acids, is performed every 4 weeks. It should be noted that the skin begins to peel under the influence of strong acids. Since we break down the upper epidermis, we need to allow time for regeneration, which is 28 days for the skin.

Deep, strong acid exfoliation can be done in the final phase of the cure if deemed necessary. By this time, the skin has been properly prepared so that it can be done safely, avoiding side effects. Only apply for treatment if you are sure you can do it all the way, go for peels regularly, follow home instructions, sacrifice for both treatments and products. You need to start at the right time. By this I mean that the summer sunny period is not the most appropriate, even with the use of sunscreen. Because we thin the skin’s epidermis at this time, we need to pay close attention to light protection, which includes not only UV radiation, but also infrared and computer-emitted blue light, HEV light.

Usually we recommend 6 suitable treatments and then we select a home care package to maintain the results at home.
